ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES


  1. Abstracts should be submitted in English language only.
  2. Abstracts that are submitted must NOT have been previously presented in any other conference or published in any journals.
  3. Abstracts must be submitted by the deadline of 30th March 2017.
  4. All abstracts must be submitted via www.uhc2017.in OR by e-mail addressing abstract.uhc2017@gmail.com. If submitting by an email, please indicate the subject as “Abstract submission for International Symposium on Universal Health Coverage”
  5. Abstract details: Structured format with a maximum text of 300 words (Times New Roman, 12 font size, single space). Name the sections of your abstract as follows: Title of the poster, names and affiliations of authors as one section, and then separate sections for Introduction, Objectives, Material & Methods, Results and Conclusions.
  6. Presenting author(s) must register for the symposium and pay the appropriate registration fee. The presenting author shall underline his/her name.
  7. Only one abstract will be allowed to be submitted by one presenter.
  8. Abstracts received by the host Department will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee.
  9. Acceptance/Non-acceptance of the abstracts will be intimated by email/website on or before 31st March 2017.

POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

  1. Size of the poster should not exceed 3ft x 4 ft.
  2. Posters shoud be displayed at appropriate slots as allotted at the venue.
  3. Please use plastic-free material for printing poster.
  4. Sections of the poster should match that of the submitted abstract.
  5. The text in the poster should be easily readable from a distance of at least 4 feet.
  6. Ensure to carry a soft copy of the poster to the venue as back-up.
  7. Posters must be displayed before 0930 hours on the day of the Symposium
  8. Posters will be judged by the scientific committee between 1300 - 1430 hours. Presenters should be available at their slot for discussion during this time.
  9. Presenting author will be given the certificate of presentation and other authors will be given participation certificate provided they register for the symposium.
  10. Stationary such as two-sided tapes, scissors, pins, clips, etc should be brought by the presenters. Stationary may also be requested at the registration counter.
  11. Top five poster presentations will be awarded with cash prizes at 1630 hours.
